The Best of the Best, Caf Snacks
Looking for a quick bite or energy booster?
Here are a few of our favourite ones from the cafeteria! Make sure to check out these snacks the next time you find yourself in need of a bite to eat.
1. Banana Bread
The caf's banana bread is baked fresh in house and is the perfect bite between classes. Its chocolate chips are the best for your sweet cravings and the fluffy, moist texture makes it a great option for a filling snack. Grab it to go!
Tip: I would recommend putting your piece in the microwave for 15 seconds to heat it up and add an extra yum factor.
2. Yogurt Parfait
The yogurt parfait is one of the best healthy snacks for those late mornings when you forget breakfast as you rush to class for AP starts. The yogurt is creamy, the oats have the best crunch, and the fruits add sweetness!
Tip: if you prefer sweet yogurt, I would recommend adding a touch of honey before digging in!
3. Raspberry Scones
These scones with raspberries and white chocolate are a delicious choice, blending sweetness and the tiniest bit of tartness together. They are freshly made every morning to ensure the yummiest snack. These scones have become extremely popular and many students choose them as a satisfying and a sweet treat. They are perfect for eating on the go (no utensils involved), and are just the right size for a quick snack in between classes.
4. Overnight Oats
The overnight oats in the caf have quickly become a favourite. The chocolate version has strawberries sprinkled on top, while the vanilla comes with pineapple. These overnight oats are great as an all day snack.
Whether enjoyed as a recess bite, a lunch refreshment, or an after school treat, these overnight oats fill you up and make sure you have enough energy to get through your day.
