No-Bake Oreo Truffles Recipe
Ingredients:
Makes approx. 40 truffles
1 (16 oz) package Oreo cookies
1(8 oz) package cream cheese (softened)
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons peanut butter (optional)
Procedure:
Crush oreos to fine crumbs in a food processor or blender.
Add cream cheese and peanut butter and continue to mix until well combined.
Roll cookie dough into small balls and place in freezer for 20-30 minutes. If you find that the mixture is sticking to your fingers, use a small amount of powdered sugar to coat your hands.
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.
Remove cookie dough balls from the freezer and coat them in the melted chocolate.
Sprinkle any desired toppings on top of the truffles (oreo pieces, sprinkles, etc.), and place back in the freezer to set for 2-3 hours.
Store truffles in the refrigerator and enjoy!
