Kyu Grill Food Truck
Kyu Grill has food trucks throughout the lower mainland. They specialize in Hawaiian-Japanese cuisine, and their signatures are their "heros". They sell a variety of sandwiches, such as spicy mayo, mango chicken, pork belly, noriyaki, okonomi, crispy chicken and veggie. My personal favourites are the mango chicken and crispy chicken sandwiches, which are the ones pictured. The mango chicken sandwich is topped with pineapple salsa and a mango sauce that elevates the sandwich and makes you feel like you are in Hawaii. Their sandwiches vary in price from $9 - $12. I would highly recommend this food truck for anyone who is looking for something new!
Off The Grid Wofle Cafe
The Off The Grid Waffle Café is on East 43rd Ave and Fraser St. They sell a variety of sweet and savoury waffles, but my personal favourite thing to get from them are their milkshakes. They sell waffle shakes, in flavours such as Oreo, cappuccino, and Nutella. These are generally extremely decadent and rich. They also have chocolate, strawberry, and mango milkshakes, that come with a variety of toppings. The chocolate and the strawberry milkshakes are the ones pictured. They offer a lot of variations of chicken and waffles, along with regular sweet waffles. They also have chicken sandwiches, fries, and really good mango lemonade!
Flying Beaver Bar & Grill
Flying Beaver Bar & Grill is located on 4760 Inglis Dr, Richmond, BC V7B 1W4, right by the Fraser River. It is a casual restaurant that sells burgers, pizzas, wings, and much more. There is also an open bar for those who are of age :) Every night is a different special, for example, Wednesday night is wing night which means you can buy a basket of wings of your choice for a lot cheaper than normally. Personally, my favourite flavor is Honey Garlic. You can never go wrong with it! Ultimately, you should go try this restaurant because at night, when the sun sets, you get an amazing view while you eat your delicious finger foods!
Pearl Castle Café
Pearl Castle Café is a Taiwanese cuisine-style restaurant that started in 1996 and has many locations in Richmond and Burnaby. It used to specialize in just drinks such as teas, coffees, and even a variety of flavors of bubble tea but in November of 1997, many chets were hired to cook Taiwanese style dishes. My personal favorite is their Chicken Teriyaki with Fried Rice and if I'm feeling like it, I'll order the Fried Chicken Nuggets with Fried Rice. Furthermore, Pearl Castle has won the Chinese Restaurant Awards Diners' Choice for Best Taiwanese Café for four consecutive years! I would definitely recommend this café for anyone who wants a taste of Taiwanese cuisine!
